Situated at 10727 Domain Drive in Austin, Travis County, Texas. The project site spans 9 acres and was previously developed as part of an office campus for IBM Computers. It has since been reimagined as a mixed-use development, featuring 372 residential units and retail spaces on the ground floor, including a bar accessible to both residents and the public.
As the civil engineer for the project, my responsibilities included land subdivision, site development permitting, and engineering design for this urban infill project. Given that the development is located in the Domain, extensive coordination was necessary between the overall master development engineering firm (Stantec) and myself to ensure the project's success.
To meet the client's requirements, we obtained multiple variances and density bonuses through the Zoning and Planning Commission, City Council, and administrative processes to facilitate the development of the property.
Completed design while at previous firm.
